About MCC

Mini Chefs Club was birthed from a love for Children, Culture, and Cuisine. The company was started in 2010, out of the Director’s kitchen in Texas. MCC provides children, ages 5 and over, with an opportunity to learn International Culinary Skills while diving into the Cultures of specific geographical regions and becoming graced in proper Social Etiquette.

Mini Chefs Club wants to stimulate children in being considerate, confident and develop a good sense of self-esteem with the purpose of inspiring them to become future leaders. MCC does this by teaching; Geographical Knowledge, Communication Skills, Culture Differences, Unity & Teamwork and Importance of Community.

We are committed to improving the life of our children by inspiring and motivating them through cooking and etiquette. The future of the next generation and those to follow hinges on the training they receive in their youth and we believe that Mini Chefs Club could serve as a driving force to the success of the children of Curacao.

About the Director
Luelle Henry-Wilson is passionate about teaching, motivating, and empowering others, particularly children, teens, and young adults. She especially enjoys helping them develop Etiquette and Social Skills. When it comes to Etiquette and Social Skills she believes that these skills lay an important foundation in helping children and teens in their daily interactions with others, promoting teamwork, integrity, politeness and assertiveness, self-confidence, and respect. Producing respectful and contributing adults.

She was born here in Curacao and moved to The Netherlands after High School. The influences of the Caribbean and South American cuisines were inevitable. Moving to the Netherlands, a “Melting Pot” of cuisines added to her curiosity and knowledge. She was exposed to the culinary tastes of India, Suriname, Indonesia, Turkey, Morocco, different African countries, and various surrounding European countries like Spain, Italy, Belgium, Germany, Greece, France. These influences awakened her desire to travel and learn more about different cultures and cuisines.

Luelle has a degree in Social Law and is a Certified Social Worker specializing in Youth Counseling with an MSc in Corporate Training & Knowledge Management. She loves to cook and has a passion for helping others find their calling in life. She is a mother of three and a grandmother of two and being a mom and a “Mia” is one of her greatest joys. Her hobbies range from Cooking, Reading, Traveling, Dancing, and enjoying a day at the beach, to Entertaining and Interior Design.
